Two Strong M-Class Solar Flares | August 26, 2022

A strong M7.2 solar flare was just observed around Active Region 13089 in the southeast quadrant at 12:14 UTC  Aug 26. Another flare measured M5.3 took place just 17 minutes later from the same active region.

No large coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are unlikely from these events as they do not appear to be eruptive blasts off the solar corona.
