A Major X-Class solar flare peaking to X4.5 was unleashed around Active Region 13663 in the suns northern hemisphere at 06:35 UTC May 6 Associated with this blast was a R3 Radio Blackout. Todays event was the 3rd strongest solar flare during the current Solar Cycle. Another northward weak Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) is exiting the solar corona just like the previous two impulsive X-Class solar flares yesterday but it seems that the latest eruption may not have much of an earth-directed component based on latest imagery.
