A powerful 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 235 km off the coast of the Cayman Islands, sending tremors across Honduras, Belize, Mexico, and Cuba, according to the EMSC.
The quake, which occurred north of Honduras, was felt across several countries in the region. As of now, there are no immediate reports of major damage or casualties. Authorities in affected areas are monitoring the situation and assessing any potential impact. The Caribbean region sits on several fault lines, making it prone to seismic activity. This is a developing story, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
SolarWatcher Newsletter forecast for Feb 9-11|
Mercury will play a significant role during this watch window as it forms a powerful alignment with Sun and Earth while Uranus sits in a very dangerous square or 90 degrees aspect to this key alignment and this should be the trigger for a possible strong ocean based earthquake event. The solar terminator line does etch its way across the south pacific ocean and this looks like the area to watch closely and suggestive foreshadow an ocean based event. Mercury the fast mover, coupled into Uranus the slow mover will provide an interesting platform for a big oceanic geophysical event, or an undersea volcanic eruption. The combination of both Mercury and Uranus is highly dangerous and explosive.
