X-Flare! A long duration X1.9 was just unleashed around Active Region 13873 at 07:19 UTC October 26. A strong Halo Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) appears to be Earth directed and should initiate strong G3 Geomagnetic storms early October 29th. Auroras will be possible mid to high latitudes.
