Active Region 14274 is back with a bang! The source of a number of five X-Flares last rotation has now turned back into view from the northeast limb and will be re-numbered later today. It just unleashed an eruptive X1.9 solar flare with an associated R3 radio blackout at 02:49 UTC Dec 1st. A large Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) is now visible but will be directed mostly away from our planet and will not be geoeffective. A Type II Radio Emission was associated with this blast with an Estimated Velocity: 988 km/s
