A major impulsive solar flare peaking to X1.2 with an associated R3 Radio Blackout was just detected around Active Region 14114 at 21:49 UTC. This eruption was short lasting but was in a direct earth-facing position it is unlikely a CME was released from this event however a change in solar wind stream should arrive sometime June 20.
