A long duration X-Flare X1.2 was unleashed around Active Region 14274 at 9:18 UTC. A type II radio emission with an estimated velocity of 1321 km/s was registered. Associated with this event was a full halo coronal mass ejection (CME) now visible via solar telemetry and heading directly to Earth and will be geoeffective in 2 days (Nov 12) where a possible G3 or 4 Geomagnetic storm is expected. Aurora sky watchers should have two good days for viewing November 12th with two X-Class solar flares released while in a perfect earth-facing position on the solar corona.
