A strong X1.1 Solar Flare was unleashed around Active Region 13784 at 06:39 UTC this morning. This active region erupted while directly facing Earth therefore any significant Coronal Mass (CME) will have an earth directed component. Latest imagery only show a very weak ejection following this blast. A much stronger blast is now visible but is well east of the Earth-Sun line and will not have any geomagnetic potential.
