Major X1.1 Solar Flare | April 30, 2022

A Major X1.1 solar flare was just observed off the western limb at 13:47 UTC today April 30th. The Source was departing region 12994 become eruptive as it was rotating off the earth-facing side of the solar disk therefore all Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), they will be directed away from our planet.

Two M-Class Flares preceded the major X-Class eruption and sent a CME barrage towards both Mars and Venus. A Brief radio blackout occurred across the HF spectrum during the eruption.
