Active Region 13664 near the western limb of the solar corona just unleashed a near X-Flare (M9.7) at 01:49 UTC Jun 8th. This event produced a large Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). This wide spread blast has sent out a HALO Coronal Mass that will have an earth directed component that should produce a geomagnetic storm sometime June 10th. Auroras should be visible high to medium latitudes.
