Two M-Class Solar Flares have been reported from the solar corona. An M1.8 solar flare was just detected around AR 2918 in the northwest quadrant at 04:01UTC (Dec 28) Then at 16:11UTC another M1.6 Solar Flare from the same active region. AR 2916 will remain a threat for additional M-Class solar flares during the next 24-48 hours as it begins to rotate off the limb.
