High levels of solar activity continues with an X4.2 Solar Flare at 12:13 UTC February 4. Active Region 14366 continues its X-Flare barrage with this latest blast occurring while in a direct earth-facing position or at center solar disk and therefore any Coronal Mass Ejection will have an earth bound component and geomagnetic storming should be possible sometimes February 6th UTC. Today’s event was impulsive and no visible CME is showing up in solar telemetry but this may chance in a few hours.
