Earth-Facing sunspot region 14299 just unleashed a M8.1 solar flare at 20:39 UTC Dec 6. Asociated with this event was a type II radio emission with an velocity of 1143 km/s. A weak halo Coronal Mass jection (CME) is now just visible via solar telemetry and will likely have an Earth directed component. A possible G1/G2 Geomagnetic storm is likely early December 10th.
