The Southeast Indian Ridge (SEIR) is a mid-ocean ridge and a divergent plate boundary in the southern Indian Ocean. It marks the boundary between the Australian and Antarctic plates, where seafloor spreading is occurring. The ridge stretches from the Rodrigues triple junction to the Macquarie triple junction 6,000 km.
